Haven't we all fiddled and played with the bits and pieces around us:
flicked rubber bands;
colour-grouped our pins?
Creative excellence can arise out of the seemingly mundane:
making something extra-ordinary out of the ordinary.
We push the imagination by limiting the materials; or
challenging the need for perfection or obedience to rules;
and so give ourselves permission to play.
And out of this creativity comes delight and discussion and discovery and possibility.
