Alfred Adler says,
“Trust only movement.
Life happens at the level of events, not of words.
Trust movement.”
May our movement be a grace-filled experience.

How do I pay attention to the divine in my life?
How do I experience the divine? How do I express this to others? May the divine shower you with grace and blessings. May your attent "Thousands of candles can be lit from a single candle
and the life of the candle will not be shortened. Happiness never decreases by being shared." May blessings and grace inhabit your sharing. Often life is veiled.
Reality covered by busy-ness; by depression; by questions. Life's journey is a constant unveiling; a constant revelation. May each unveiling reveal a new grace; a new blessing. May we be open to accept these gifts. Benjamin Disraeli said,
"The greatest good you can do for another is not just to share your riches, but to reveal to him his own." May you be blessed as you share. May you be blessed as you reveal. Joan Didion advises,
"I think we are well advised to keep on nodding terms with the people we used to be, whether we find them attractive company or not. Otherwise they turn up unannounced and surprise us, come hammering on the mind's door at 4 am of a bad night, and demand to know who deserted them, who betrayed them, who is going to make amends. We forget all too soon the things we thought we could never forget. We forget the loves and betrayals alkie, forget what we whispered and what we screamed, forget who we were." Joseph Addison, the essayist, wrote,
"Our real blessings often appear to us in the shape of pains, losses, and disappointments; but let us have patience and we shall soon see them in their proper figures." May we be blessed with patience. May we be blessed with eyes to see and hearts to receive. A time of retreat is a time of grace:
the Lord is waiting to be gracious to me. May this season be "Understand what is in front of you
and what is hidden from you will be revealed." from the Gospel of Thomas May your understanding bring you rich blessings. |
