Hunch, gut feeling, inkling, suspicion, impression, discernment, instinct, inspiration, perception, second sight, sixth sense.  GORM Mavi is the eleventh blue doll in a series of intuitive dolls called 'The Rainbow Connection'. Intuition is such an elusive quality - it cannot be seen, only felt; it can only be trusted, not compelled; it is very personal, but available to all. But befriending out intuition, encouraging it, learning to understand it, is a gift to ourselves and to others. Gisele Bundchen says, "The more you trust your intuition, the more empowered you become, the stronger you become, the happier you become."  MAVI Caeruleo is the tenth blue doll in a series of intuitive dolls called 'The Rainbow Connection'. Albert Einstein said that the only real valuable thing is intuition. Any activity or process or programme which acknowledges and encourages and develops intuition is a valuable contribution to our humanity.  CAERULEO Niebieski is the ninth blue doll in a series of intuitive dolls called "The Rainbow Connection". There is a real joy, a sense of play, a relaxing quality, in making an intuitive doll for its own sake. Removing the angst of developing new designs, the weight of excellence, the pressure of marketability, is liberating. As I make each doll, I am focused on the present, wholly attentive to the process, listening deeply to my intuition. It is in the present moment that I come to know and understand myself. It can be risky - abdicating control over an aspect of an activity. It is an act of trust - in your inner self; in your subconscious; in your spirit. For me, intuitive dolls are like journals. Like Julia Cameron's morning pages, the intuitive doll is a vessel that receives any random thoughts or desires or emptiness. Unlike a journal or diary, my thoughts and stream of consciousness are not easily available to prying eyes - the entry, so to speak, is hidden in plain view. Sometimes, as I create a doll, something about the shape or the colour will invite me to pause ... This pause is an invitation. I sit within it; listen; consider; and re-enter my world a different person for this sacred encounter. One definition of intuition is: the ability to acquire knowledge without inference and/or the use of reason.
