BROKEN DREAMS
This rosary is the second I made to express my feelings about my divorce.
I used white yarn to express purity, innocence, naievity, immaturity.
There are 32 beads made from shards of glass to recollect 32 years of marriage before abandonment.
The white crocheted beads are for the promise that was never fulfilled.
The glass cross is a physical reminder that God dwells within my pain
within my fragmentation
within my bewilderment
assuring me moment by moment of overwhelming love and devotion.
