CROCHET ROSARIES
LORD, TO WHOM SHALL WE GO?
Beads, and strings of beads,
have been used for millennia as an aid to contemplation.
They are a tangible call to remember;
a cause to pause;
a way of setting aside ourselves and taking on the heart of the divine.
Making these rosaries is a form of contemplation to me;
a meditation, stitch by stitch.
The first rosary I crocheted was made to remember Fr. Myhcal Judge, a Franciscan priest, who may have been the first official victim of the attacks on the World Trade Centre in New York.
These rosaries are crocheted from woolen and acrylic yarns.
Each has a handmade cross or pendant.
Each rosary has its own drawstring organza bag.
Rosaries are $25.00 plus post and packaging.
Every rosary is different.
I can craft a rosary for you a general colourway eg blue, red, yellow with a cross to match.
The clay hand was sculpted by Julie Voss and is not for sale.
