"LOOK GOOD FEEL BETTER" is an organisation committed to accompanying those living with cancer during the treatment process.
Through generous support of sponsors, the organisers are able to offer make-up, hair styling and grooming sessions to help people feel good about themselves.
It is inner beauty and strength which defines who we are and how we are seen.
But when we are going through struggles,
we often need the boost to our self-confidence that looking good can bring.
This journey with cancer is always a solitary one,
but there is an immense solidarity and camaraderie
when we walk this journey alongside others.
The stories are the same and they are different.
But a shared story has immense power to encourage and strengthen.
These stories are shared when women gather to participate
in "Look Good Feel Better" sessions.
