THE QUOTIDIAN DOLL: AN INTRODUCTION
Designing and creating dolls has been a large part of my life over the past twenty years.
This commitment has been:
healing;
celebratory;

I wish to honour the blessings
these dolls have brought me;
the friendships they have kindled;
the stories they share;
the clarity they have gifted me;
the voice they have unleashed;
the directions they guide me in.
I have experienced the generosity of others;
their delight;
anger and fear;
encouragement and empowerment;
their support;
all mediated through my commitment to dollmaking.
Creativity,
in thousands of guises,
enables us to connect with ourselves;
with others;
with the divine.
