I used a pattern by Raewyn Parker of Red Hen Designs.
I particularly love the batik fabric he is created from.

Blondie is another Dammit Doll.
Made from a pattern in Pamela Hasting's self-published book "Dollmaking as a Transformative Experience" I was commissioned to make a doll
from all the elements used to create a now unwanted wedding dress. Silk, organza, ribbon, braid, lace, beads. She is a fairy watching over her god-child. 65
to celebrate 65 years of life! Why black? This fabric is a favourite of mine: black velvet embossed with roses. Holding a light to show the way to live mindfully in the present moment. |
