to create a doll a day for 101 days.
I called it Diaspora: the 101 doll project.
It starts with 2 dolls in County Mayo, Ireland in the mid-19th Century.
I then created their extended family
until I reached doll 101.
The characters are entirely fictional
but I think their experiences and dreams;
their joys and their grief;
their desire to improve the lives of their children
reflect the human condition.
I started with a teardrop-shaped template
and called the Family BRENNAN because that means "teardrop".
