Even if I feel you are distant,
together we are one.
Even if you fail me,
together we are one.
Our togetherness is a blessing.
Our togetherness is graced.

Our lives are cyclical.
Our world is cyclical. The seasons are cyclical. The cycles of our lives rejuvenate us; rest us; restore us; re-focus us; bless us. May we receive with open minds and open hearts the blessings we are offered. To whom will I bear the love of God? Blessings to all who bear Christ to others. After the drought, rain comes.
Regrowth. After time in the desert, an oasis. Regrowth. After separation, unity. Regrowth. May grace infuse our regrowth. May it bring blessings to all. Thich Nhat Hanh uses calligraphy as a meditation.
During one meditation he wrote, "I have arrived. I am here." Every day, every moment, we have arrived, we are here. May we attend to our lives ...here, now. May grace inhabit every moment. May every arrival be blessed. Thich Nhat Hanh wrote,
"The tears I shed yesterday have become rain." These tears are the wellspring of hope. They water the person I am becoming. They nurture the seeds of relationship. Each tear reflects LOVE. May your tears be tomorrow's blessings. Wait here.
Not in some distant place of desire or longing. Wait here. Not in the wistfulness of your dreaming. Wait here. I will wait with you. May we be blessed as we wait mindfully, attentively, in the present moment. Wait.
I am not ready. But will I ever be ready? Rainer Maria Rilke writes, "And you wait, keep waiting for that one thing which would infinitely enrich your life: the powerful, uniquely uncommon, the awakening of dormant stones, depths that would reveal you to yourself." May LOVE be in your waiting. May your waiting bring blessings. Listen to these words, sung by Eva Cassidy ...
"I know you by heart..." Close your eyes. Pause. Breathe in. Breathe out. Imagine God (or Godde) beside you. Listen as God (Godde) serenades you with these words... "I know you by heart ..." May we be blessed knowing we are loved. |
