Today may there be peace within.
May you trust that you are exactly where you are meant to be. May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith in yourself and others. May you use the gifts that you have received and pass on the love that has been given to you. May you be content with yourself just the way you are. Let this knowledge settle into your bones, and allow your soul the freedom to sing, dance, praise and love. It is there for each and every one of us. This is not quite my last post.
Here in New Zealand, it is the last day of March, 2013. Easter Sunday. It is the last day of my one-prayer-flag-a-day project, 'Blessings on the wind'. 391 flags. I love the format 8" by 5": it challenges; it constrains; it limits. But within all that, this format has wings ... and I have flown. I love the intention: to send blessings into the wind; to bless all who pass; to bless all who read the posts. I have been blessed ... in great measure. I love the story: of prayer flags; of poetry; of seasons; of lives lived purposefully, simply and authentically. And so I intend ... to keep making and hanging prayer flags ... just not as regularly and ... you may enjoy my blog Heartfelt Inspiration which explores what inspires me and ... tomorrow, April 1st, 2013, New Zealand time :) I will begin a new project ... The Quotidian Doll: Introducing-one-Heartfelt Doll-a-day. What have I interred?
What have I buried? What have I hidden away? Would I want to see it again? May grace imbue all that we have buried. May we have the courage to say good-bye. May it bless our lives. Love one another.
Serve one another. Lay down your life for the other. Bless the other. And may you be filled with every grace and blessing. Now and then,
we are blessed to catch a glimpse of LOVE, in that everyday miracle of being alive. This LOVE overlays our life, colours our perceptions, our actions, our feelings, our relationships, our prayer. We are blessed. May you glimpse LOVE today. Laurence Freeman OSB writes,
"The Easter mysteries are like what the ancient world called initiation rituals. The ultimate transformation is yet to come. But here and now – if we don’t doze off, if we take the attention off our limitations and the suffering they cause – we begin the process and taste the new wine that Jesus drinks with us in the Kingdom." May our initiation into LOVE bring blessing. May our initiation into LOVE bring transformation. Hosanna!
Let us welcome God! Let us recognise the divine amomgst us. Let us caress the divine. Let us dwell in the light. Let us not forget. Let us not change our minds. Let us not get too busy too notice. May we be blessed. |
