This is not quite my last post.
Here in New Zealand, it is the last day of March, 2013. Easter Sunday.
It is the last day of my one-prayer-flag-a-day project,
'Blessings on the wind'.
391 flags.

I love the format 8" by 5":
it challenges;
it constrains;
it limits.
But within all that, this format has wings ...
and I have flown.

I love the intention:
to send blessings into the wind;
to bless all who pass;
to bless all who read the posts.
I have been blessed ...
in great measure.

I love the story:
of prayer flags;
of poetry;
of seasons;
of lives lived purposefully, simply and authentically.

And so I intend ...
to keep making and hanging prayer flags ... just not as regularly
and ...

Now and then,
we are blessed to catch a glimpse of LOVE,
in that everyday miracle of being alive.

This LOVE overlays our life,
colours our perceptions,
our actions,
our feelings,
our relationships,
our prayer.

We are blessed.
May you glimpse LOVE today.

Are we passionaries ...
committed to LOVE?
committed to service?
committed to revelation?
committed to relationship?

LOVE inhabits passion.
May your passion be a blessing to all.

Litter

Litter ... a curse and a blessing.
Nature's excess provides a much-needed mulch on the forest floor.
Man's excess destroys our environment.

What are the excesses that litter my life?
What are the excesses with which I litter our environment?
What are the excesses that nourish and fertilise my relationship with others, with God, with myself?

May our excesses bless those we encounter.
May we bless this world with LOVE, not litter.
