What responsibility do we have
as artists, artisans, craftspeople, performers,
as human beings,
to share our gifts with those who need them most?

How do we set aside
our fears, our desires, our ambition,
our egocentric world view,
to relive the fears,
to fulfill the desires,
to sow seeds of hope for a better future
for others?

How do we allow ART reveal the HEART of love?

She desired me
so I came close.

No one can hear God unless
She has prepared a bed for you.

A thousand souls hear Her call every second,
but most every one then looks into their life’s mirror and says,
“I am not worthy to leave this sadness.”

When I first heard Her courting song,
I too looked at all I had done in my life and said,

“How can I gaze into Her omnipresent eyes?”
I spoke those words with all my heart,

But then She sang again,
a song even sweeter,
and when I tried to shame myself once more from Her presence God
showed me Her compassion
and spoke a divine truth,

“I made you, dear,
and all I made is perfect.
Please come close,
for I
desire
you.”

The images you hold in your mind and turn into healing art
change nerve impulses in the body,
and bring hormonal balance to each cell in your body.

Simply put,
a healing image manifested in reality for the good of yourself or another
results in a ripple effect of healing physiology in your body.

The Transformational effect of the art-healing process happens in three steps:

The person has the healing vision as a thought, image or movement
initiated by the creative process.

A message is sent to the cells by a nerve impulse, a hormone, or a neurotransmitter.

The shift in physiology bolsters the body's immune system.
The cells become activated.
They may react by eating a cancer cell or virus,
sending blood to an area of illness,
or relaxing or tensing.

Increasingly,
I am choosing not to be anxious about "copyright" and "intellectual property".
It has been an attitudinal change
from being possessive and acquisitive and protective
to sharing and gifting.
The ideas and talents I have are pure gift.
I am only a steward,
a conduit,
a vessel to be poured out.
I found it encouraging, uplifting, validating
to encounter someone who thinks along the same lines.

Let's be generous in our creativity;
in our idea sharing.
Every bit helps us to become fully human;
fully engaged in the creative life.
